Keith Ayotte's 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle Wagon
(This car has been sold)

My cousin, who lives in sunny Arizona, keeps finding these wonderful cars.  Besides his 1972 Corvette he's restoring, he found this beautiful wagon.

Per Keith: "Needs new paint and a little body work, besides that the car is in great condition especially for it's age. Body, frame, and interior are the best that I've seen in any un-restored 68 car I've seen. Dash doesn't even have any cracks."

Keith also adds: "Short term plans are to repaint, add some ralley wheels and white lettered tires, and install a 700r4.  Long term, install 502 Ramjet and beef up the 12" in the rear. Probably add some nice bucket seats as well."

In a recent letter, Keith states:

Wagon is home in the garage on jack stands. Doing the normal stuff to it before throwing it on the road. New brake lines (rubber part), rad hoses, changing out fuel lines, changing all fluids, replacing front end bushings, ball joints, and tie rods. Also added some new shocks to the rear (have new ones for the front as well), bought some new 15x7 Corvette style rally wheels.  I bought is a GM performance serpentine belt setup and now have a full compliment of gauges I'll be putting in. I also bought new plugs, HEI rebuild kit, and new wires.

Found out the car has turbo 400, not a 350 as advertised, nice little bonus.   The underneath of the car is amazing, 100% rust free frame, glass is in great shape, all chrome trim is intact. Interior is solid 8 out of 10, 3" cut on the roof liner, carpet is in real good shape as well. Brakes look like they were recently done, park brake works, rear brakes in general look great, fronts have new pads.
